Loring Heights
Loring Heights is a smaller, more intimate intown community with approximately 330 homes scattered throughout its wooded landscape. Families, couples and singles alike find the amenities of Loring Heights appealing, such as its close proximity to public transportation and its nearness to the city’s major interstates.
Atlantic Station, Buckhead and Midtown are all within a short drive, making it an ideal place to retreat home after a long day at work … or play. Predominately mid-1900s architecture is what you’ll find in Loring Heights, but with growth, renovations, Craftsman homes and a few other styles have worked their way in – not to the disruption of the community’s cohesion, however.
The neighborhood association strives to ensure that all public areas, including the park and duck pond, remain tidy, and that the atmosphere is one of public pride and friendliness. Annual events are held to keep neighbors close, and efforts are taken to ensure that the spreading metropolis doesn’t crowd out the quiet, small-town feel of Loring Heights.
